Almond Cookies

Almond cookies are delicious treats. They have a nutty flavor and a delightful crunch. There are various types of almond cookies, but one of the most popular is the almond cookie, which is an eggless option that's easy to make.

Here's a simple recipe for Almond Cookies:

Ingredients:

  • 100g butter

  • 100g sugar powder

  • 10g custard powder

  • 10g milk powder

  • 200g all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 drop vanilla essence

  •  chopped almonds

  • Optional: whole almonds or almond slices for topping

Instructions:

  •  Preheat your oven to 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • In a mixing bowl, sift the flour, milk powder, custard powder, and baking powder. Mix them with chopped almonds until well combined.

  • In another bowl, whisk the butter, vanilla essence, and powdered sugar together until it becomes light and fluffy. You can use a hand mixer or stand mixer for this step.

  • Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Combine them to form a dough. If the dough is too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk to bring it together. The dough should be soft but not sticky.

  • Scoop spoonful of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie.

  • If you like, you can press a whole almond or almond slice gently on top of each cookie for decoration.

  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 12–15 minutes, or check the undersides, which should be golden at the end of cooking.

  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once the cookies are completely cooled, they are ready to be enjoyed! Store any leftovers in an airtight container to keep them fresh.

You can also experiment with different variations, such as adding chocolate chips or dipping them in melted chocolate for extra indulgence.

Enjoy your homemade almond Cookies. 🍪🍵
